Gigabit optical extender module
The MDB-9 Gigabit Optical Extender connects electrical high-speed data communications links that require the extended-distance performance realized through optical fiber. This Fibre Channel copper-to-optical converter module uses a standard DB-9 electrical interface to connect to the back of the workstation. It can also be used in arbitrated-loop applications for constant communications transmission, as well as data receiving.
