The uts-isdn Harrier butt test set uses a 32-character liquid-crystal-display screen and can be operated by three handset buttons. The backlit screen reports on call setup and progress, error messages on layers one, two, and three, and other tests. The set`s serial port allows for downloading for external storage and analysis of all test results, as well as remote software upgrades to accommodate future isdn enhancements, additional testing features, and new network emulations.
