The Comet ups uninterruptible power supply (ups) is available in 50-, 65-, and 80-kilovolt-ampere models. Advanced models include a pulsewidth-modulated inverter design using insulated gate bipolar transistors combined with the manufacturer`s digital power quality logic microcircuitry. The device is available in top-entry or top-and- bottom-entry configurations. An lcd front communication panel indicates the system`s operational and battery status. Remote monitoring with teleservice from the manufacturer is available via a modem.
