AdvanceLite 300 provides for a 300-meter cable length as defined in the tia`s telecommunications systems bulletin tsb-72. AdvanceLite 600 provides for a 600-meter cable length, which exceeds the requirements of the iso/iec-11801 standard and the requirements spelled out in ieee 802.3. Mohawk says this guaranteed link length provides assurance that longer backbones will operate at gigabit speeds and will also be compatible with existing cabling.
