Level 7 cabling system

Feb. 1, 1998
The smart Giga unshielded twisted-pair (utp) cabling system meets Level 7 requirements at 200 megahertz. Performance results for the entire link are 10-decibel attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio (acr) at 208.8 megahertz, pair-to-pair near-end crosstalk, and 10-dB acr at 202 MHz, power-sum near-end crosstalk. The system is offered for utp and shielded twisted-pair applications and includes communications outlets, cables, patch panels, and patch cords.
