SKM-215 balanced cable measuring setups test twisted-pair cables, including those used for bit rates to 100 Mbits/sec. Parameters such as characteristic impedance, attenuation constant, four-terminal attenuation, return loss and crosstalk can be assessed on balanced cables and components. Baluns used in the system allow straightforward measurement of characteristic impedance to 100 megahertz.
