NAED names Region 2 VP-elect

March 22, 2002--Randy Germeraad will lead the central U.S. region beginning in 2003.

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED--www.naed.org) has named Randy Germeraad of Springfield Electric Supply Co. in Springfield, IL as the incoming vice president-elect for Region 2. Region 2 represents the central U.S.

Germeraad has been a member of the NAED Regional Council, its Advocacy Committee, and the Young Executives of Today Committee. As VP-elect of Region 2, he will participate on the membership committee, the project-development team, and the advisory committee to TED (The Electrical Distributor), the organization's monthly magazine.

Currently Peter de Steiger leads NAED's Region 2. de Steiger will be succeeded by Larry Stern in May. Germeraad will succeed Stern in 2003.
