Aug. 13, 2002
August 13, 2002--The move facilitates the purchase of iTRACS products by the Departments of Defense, Transportation, and Treasury, and by NASA.

iTRACS Corp. (www.itracs.com) announced that it has been registered as an approved contractor for the federal government. The company has been added to the Central Contractor Registration database, facilitating the purchase of iTRACS products by the Department of Defense, NASA, Department of Transportation, and Department of Treasury.

"Government agencies can award contracts to iTRACS, enabling them to automate the management of the physical network infrastructure in their wiring closets, data centers, and communications rooms," said Mark DeBroeck, vice president of global sales for iTRACS. "iTRACS is being deployed in numerous government installations and we expect this registration will make iTRACS more readily available to government agencies."

Government agencies that purchase iTRACS products through the CCR database must use iTRACS's DUNS number, which is 968833525.
