iTRACS Corp. (www.itracs.com) has announced that four training courses associated with the company's intelligent cabling-management solution now qualify for continuing education credits (CECs) from BICSI (www.bicsi.org). The courses cover the installation, use, development, operation, and maintenance of iTRACS analyzers, sensors, and patch cords as well as the system's network infrastructure management software.

iTRACS Administrator, a four-day course on the use of iTRACS software, is worth 21 BICSI CECs. iTRACS Design & Implementation, a one-day course on designing an enterprise-wide iTRACS system solution, is worth 14 CECs. iTRACS Installer, a one- or two-day course on installing the complete iTRACS system, also is worth 14 CECs. And iTRACS Sales Professional, a one-day course on selling and supporting the iTRACS solution, is worth 5 CECs.

Peter Larsen, training manager for iTRACS Corp., says the granting of CECs to iTRACS courses "will equip industry specialists both to deploy our real-time network management system and to win installation contracts from clients who demand proof of BICSI accreditation."

The iTRACS system is sold on a standalone basis or as part of a complete structured cabling system with partners including Molex Premise Networks, Ortronics, Tyco Electronics/AMP Netconnect, and ITT Network Systems and Services.
