Juniper Bank installs TrueNet system

July 9, 2002 -- KRONE network will support Ethernet LAN at new corporate headquarters

Juniper Bank has installed the KRONE TrueNet Structured Cabling System to support a Fast Ethernet LAN in its new corporate headquarters in Wilmington, Del.

Juniper Bank, a division of Columbus Bank and Trust Company, has installed TrueNet C5eT.

Founded in October 2000, Juniper Bank is a privately held online and wireless financial-services company that offers consumers consumer banking services. These include credit cards, checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, electronic bill payment, loans, insurance and wireless banking.

The KRONE TrueNet Structured Cabling System is a physical-layer technology specifically designed to prevent bandwidth loss in LANs for maximum data throughput. TrueNet Structured Cabling Systems consist of an integrated system of impedance-matched horizontal cable, patch cords, terminal blocks, jacks and patch panels.

Juniper Bank's chief objectives in outsourcing its LAN cabling infrastructure were network flexibility, low maintenance and high reliability.

"We wanted an easy-to-maintain cabling system that would facilitate moves, adds and changes with minimal downtime," says Russ Aaronson, director of network services at Juniper Financial Corp. "The solution had to satisfy our immediate needs, yet enable future growth."

NDC of West Chester, Pa., designed and installed the company's new communications network.

KRONE's TrueNet Warranty certifies zero bit error data transmissions in the physical layer by performing active testing on installed systems at the end-user's location.

TrueNet Systems are available to meet proposed Category 6 (TrueNet C6T) and Category 5e (TrueNet C5eT) requirements.
