Wiremold top executives retiring

May 30, 2002
May 30, 2002--The company's president/CEO, VP of sales, and VP of finance/CFO will retire August 1.

Gary Brooks, president of Wiremold subsidiary Brooks Electronics, recently was promoted to president and chief executive officer of Wiremold (www.wiremold.com). Brooks will replace Art Byrne, who announced that he will retire on August 1. Brooks co-founded Brooks Electronics in 1974, and sold the company to Wiremold in 1988.

Wiremold announced that Scott Bartosch, vice president of sales, and Oret Fiume, vice president of finance and chief financial officer, also will retire on August 1.

Ed Miller, who has been vice president of marketing since 1993, will assume the dual role of vice president of sales and marketing. Doug Bielefeld, treasurer, will succeed Fiume as vice president of finance and CFO.

Andy Struebing, currently manager of engineering and marketing at Brooks Electronics, will succeed Gary Brooks as that subsidiary's president.

"Over its 102-year history, Wiremold has only had four other CEOs," Byrne said. "Each one has taken the company to new highs, and I'm confident that Gary will continue this tradition."

Byrne added that there will be no change in Wiremold's sales force or its approach to the market in light of the management changes.
