Alcoa Fujikura Ltd. (AFL) (www.AFLFiber.com) has acquired AtPac, a provider of engineering, furnish, and installation (EF&I) services to the telecommunications industry. Alcoa Inc. and Thomas & Betts Corporation (www.tnb.com) announced that Alcoa has acquired all of the assets relating to the fiber-optic product lines of Thomas & Betts for cash, becoming part of Alcoa Fujikura Ltd. (AFL).
