Aura Networks, Inc. (www.auranetinc.com) announced an initiative to deliver metro access optical Ethernet solutions to service providers. This initiative is being supported by $16 million in growth funding from Sierra Ventures (www.sierraventures.com). Aura Networks is using Ethernet and fiber optics technology called Stealth IP, to deliver an affordable, reliable, and manageable metro access provisioning solution for linking service providers to the customer premise.
