Corning and Cisco to Deliver Optical Solutions to Service Providers

Corning Incorporated (www.corning.com) and Cisco Systems, Inc. (www.cisco.com) announced a strategic alliance that will combine Corning's experience in optical fiber and photonic products with Cisco's Internet scale optical networking solutions experience. The alliance will work together to speed deployment of optical infrastructures. Corning and Cisco will form teams to develop pre-engineered optical solutions consistent with customer requirements.
