The Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA, Mountain View, CA; www.wi-fi.org) reports that 46 products have passed Wi-Fi certification testing for wireless LAN interoperability. The Wi-Fi logo serves to guarantee interoperability between PC wireless LAN cards, devices, and access points from various vendors. Products awarded the certification have undergone independent testing at Agilent's Silicon Valley Networking Lab.
