Corning International Corporation (www.corning.com) has entered into an equity venture agreement with Chengdu Telecommunications Cable Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of China Posts and Telecom Industrial Corporation forming Chengdu CCS Optical Fiber Cable Co., Ltd. (www.cdccs.com). Chengdu CCS Optical Fiber Cable will manufacture telecommunications cables using Corning optical fiber.
