TIA elects chairmen and vice-chairs to subcommittees

The TR-42 Engineering Committee on User Premises Telecommunications Infrastructure of the Telecommunications Industry Association recently met and held elections for chairmen and vice-chairs of its odd-number subcommittees.

The results of the elections were:

* TR-42.1, Commercial Building Cabling - Herb Congdon, Tyco Electronics, chairman; and Julie Roy, NORDX/CDT, vice-chairwoman.
* TR-42.3, Commercial Building Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces -
Steve Huffaker, Bank One, chairman; and Glenn Sexton, Northwest Information Services, vice-chairman.
* TR-42.5, Telecommunications Infrastructure Terms and Symbols - Peter Sharp, Giffels Associates, chairman; and Steve Huffaker, BankOne, vice-chairman.
* TR-42.7, Telecommunications Copper Cabling Systems - Paul Vanderlaan, Belden Wire and Cable, chairman; and Valerie Rybinski, Hitachi Cable Manchester, vice-chairwoman.
* TR-42.9, Industrial Telecommunications Infrastructure - Shadi AbuGhazaleh, Hubbell Premise Wiring, chairman; and Bob Lounsbury, Rockwell Automation, vice-chairman.
