Eagle Broadband picked for Lake Las Vegas installation

Oct. 16, 2003
Oct. 16, 2003 - Company was chosen partly because of its last-mile cable and fiber installation capabilities.

Eagle Broadband Inc. has announced that it has been awarded a contract from Lake Las Vegas Resort to provide a range of enhanced broadband services.

The services will include network integration, subscription and premium video programming, billing and operational support services to the resort community.

The customized bundle of services Eagle is delivering allows Lake Las Vegas to offer its customers high-demand broadband services and to better utilize their existing network infrastructure while lowering both capital and operating costs. Eagle is offering a "four-play" of bundled digital services (i.e., voice, video, super high-speed Internet access and security monitoring) and design, development, deployment, and operation and support services.

Eagle was chosen partly because it has extensive "last mile" cable and fiber installation capabilities and provides complete IT business integration and enterprise management solutions including network security and intrusion detection.

Lake Las Vegas is a premier integrated community, combining an exclusive residential lifestyle with the amenities of a destination resort. Located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Las Vegas is a 2,600-acre residential, golf and resort destination surrounding a privately owned, 320-acre lake.

"Lake Las Vegas demands the highest possible quality for all services within their resort community," says Dave Weisman, CEO of Eagle Broadband. "This project will serve as a showcase for state-of-the-art technology and bundled digital services, as well as the model for the profitable deployment of next generation networks and subscriber services."

Eagle Broadband is based in League City, Texas. For more information visit www.eaglebroadband.com.
