Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT is offering a 15.5 credit certificate in Fiber Optic Technology beginning this spring. The purpose of the certificate is to educate entry level workers in photonics/fiber optics. For the spring semester 2001, certain courses will be offered only through distance learning (web based), with a four day residency required for the Fiber Optics course.
