August 14, 2001 Microtest Inc. (www.microtest.com) and Panduit Corp. (www.panduit.com) announced a non-exclusive arrangement focused on enhancing marketing and service to the structured cabling industry.
Both companies will be cooperating at trade shows, seminars, and educational forums. They will provide expert technical assistance to each other and support each other in key account situations. Through cross training, customer service agents at each company will be in a better position provide information on a range of available services. Panduit will use the Microtest OMNIScanner 2 in its installer training classes and will demonstrate it to their worldwide system integrator force. Microtest will demonstrate Category 6 systems using a Panduit channel solution and will use Panduit products in training classes and seminars.
