WildBlue Selects Andrew for Broadband Gateways

Andrew Corporation (www.andrew.com) will supply WildBlue Communications Inc. (www.wildblue.com) with services for twelve Ka-band gateway systems to be deployed in WildBlue's broadband service network across the United States. Andrew will supply, install, test, and provide ongoing maintenance for each gateway. WildBlue is the first telecommunications service provider to supply Direct To Home (DTH) 2-way satellite broadband service on a commercial basis at Ka-band. The first six WildBlue gateways are scheduled for completion by the end of 2001.
