GMP appoints Latin American market manager

November 6, 2001 Gustavo Padron has 17 years of experience in construction projects in Central and South America.

General Machine Products Co. (GMP--www.GMPtools.com) recently appointed Gustavo R. Padron to the position of market manager, Latin American. He is responsible for all of the company's sales and marketing activities in Central and South America.

Padron has an associate's degree from Montgomery College in Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He brings to GMP 17 years of engineering and marketing experience in the Latin American business community, including engineering projects in the public and private sectors. He also has supervised projects on tunnels, sewer profiles, aqueducts, and a railroad.
