September 26, 2001 The Siemon Co. (www.siemon.com) announced a new educational seminar series entitled "Advanced Fiber Optic Solutions" to go along with the update of its existing seminar series called "Next Generation Cabling: Standards Update." The standards-update seminar has been revised to reflect the most recent TIA/EIA and ISO/IEC standards changes, including an update on the Category 6 standard. The fiber-optic seminar covers backbone and horizontal cabling topologies, transmission principles, and connector options.
Both half-day seminars will be presented in major metropolitan areas in the U.S. and in some international locations.
