September 10, 2001 Test equipment management service company Livingston UK Ltd. has achieved registration to the quality management system ISO 9001:2000, through the British Standards Institution (BSI).

September 10, 2001 Test equipment management service company Livingston UK Ltd. (Middlesex, U.K.—www.livingston.co.uk) has, in a record time of three and a half months, achieved registration to the quality management system ISO 9001:2000, through the British Standards Institution (BSI).

ISO 9001:2000 is awarded to companies that, in BSI's view, have reached a proficient level of customer service and satisfaction. Companies must meet five requirements: a quality management system; management responsibility; resource management; product realization; and measurement analysis and improvement. In essence, the registration signifies emphasis on measurement, customer satisfaction and continual improvement—that a company does not pursue quality for its own sake, but rather as an essential requirement for customer satisfaction.

Livingston is an outsourcing, services, and rental group specializing in electronics and telecommunications test equipment. The company seeks to work in partnership with its customers to develop customized solutions in Internet, telecommunications, electronics, and software development.
