Seiko Instruments Fiber Optics Group adds All American to distributor list

September 21, 2001 The Fiber Optic Products Group of Seiko Instruments USA Inc. has added All American Semiconductor Inc. to its roster of distributors.

September 21, 2001 The Fiber Optic Products Group of Seiko Instruments USA Inc. (www.seikofiber.com) has added All American Semiconductor Inc. to its roster of distributors.

According to the agreement, All American will distribute the Fiber Optic Group's connectors, including the new SeikoNet Cable Assemblies, adapters, and polisher product families. Seiko's Fiber Optic Products Group is based in Torrance, Calif.

All American will bring logistics and technical support infrastructures to Seiko customers, including three distribution centers, field applications engineers, and supply chain management programs.

"We expect the addition of Seiko Instruments Fiber Optic Products to deliver increased revenues for both companies through well-focused sales and promotional efforts," says George Papajohn, vice president of marketing for the Miami-based All American.
