SunSet 10G also conforms to both North American (SONET) and International (SDH) standards for optical transmission. It joins Sunrise Telecom's SunSet OCx and SunSet SDH product families, designed for testing applications throughout the network, from the core network to the access network.

Currently, the SunSet 10G is scheduled for field trials during third quarter 2001 with shipments beginning in the latter part of 2001.
