June 5, 2001 Advance Fiber Optics has appointed Chris Alvanas as director of new business development.

June 5, 2001 Advance Fiber Optics has appointed Chris Alvanas as director of new business development. In his new role, Alvanas will identify opportunities for new products, services, and concepts involving the company's network fiber management software, OSP InSight.

"Demand for OSP InSight is continually increasing. However, along with that demand is the desire of our customers for new products and services to augment their use of OSP InSight," said Jerel Arnell, vice president of operations. "As a former customer, Chris is the ideal candidate to work with our customers to identify new opportunities and develop these concepts into viable products and services."
