June 5, 2001 Cellular Specialties, Inc. (www.cellularspecialties.com), or CSI, has partnered with Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) to establish a facility for testing CSI's wireless in-building amplifiers, antennas, and other related equipment. CSI will use the PSNH General Construction and Maintenance Facility in Hooksett, NH as a "test bed" for new products.
The installation, by PSNH, of antennas and cabling in the facility gives CSI an opportunity to "field test" new products and compare the performance of these new units against known standards. "Because we can evaluate our products in a known environment, this test site will provide valuable data in the development of new equipment," said Don Mills, V.P. of product development for CSI. "We had been looking for a local "test bed" facility for some time and PSNH came to our rescue with a site that is perfectly suited to our needs."
