Holocom Networks (www.holocomnetworks.com) recently announced the release of a new product, Holocom Wireless Gateway. The product is a ceiling-mounted enclosure that houses wireless electronics. Holocom says the product can be used in an entirely wireless building or used to extend an existing LAN with the flexibility of wireless connections.

The enclosures mount in standard drop ceilings and house a variety of wireless telecommunications equipment, including wireless hubs and access points.

"There's no doubt that wireless connectivity is something many companies are looking at today," said G. Bradford Saunders, Holocom Networks' president. "This wireless technology is in the natural curve of progression for the connectivity arena."
