Corning Inc. has revamped its Optical Fiber Web site.
The site, www.corning.com/opticalfiber, offers new sections including:
* Inside Optical Fiber, which provides information about Corning's heritage in optical fiber and technology breakthroughs,
* Discovery Center, which provides educational content and tutorials on the basics of optical fiber technology,
* Around the World, which helps Web surfers find regional sites containing fiber information for the Asia Pacific, Greater China, Greater Europe and Latin America regions, and
* Products and Services, which provides a full portfolio of fiber products and services.
Those who register will be granted access to secure product specification documents and white papers. Registered members from the former site will need to migrate their account to retain access.
