Greenwoods trains IX Europe engineers

December 13, 2001 The training organization brought a staff of colocation, data-center, and hosting-service professionals up to speed on cabling techniques.

IX Europe, a provider of colocation, data-center and

hosting services, has chosen Greenwoods Communications' training center to

train all its engineers in cabling, termination and cable management.

Greenwoods' team of on-site trainers designed a two-day

course for groups of IX Europe engineers to be trained to a standardized,

level of cabling. The course is run at Greenwoods' replica switch room,

located at its Birmingham facility.

Janice Cullen, data center manager for IX Europe, said, "Our goal is to have the same

standard of expertise across all our engineering teams, and Greenwoods was

able to offer a course specific to our needs."
