McCormick's export function allows data transfer

Dec. 27, 2001
December 26, 2001 The maker of bid-preparation software has enabled its users to export information into Dexter + Chaney Forefront software packages.

McCormick Systems (www.mccormicksys.com) recently announced that it has added an export function to its job-estimating software package that allows users to send information to the Forefront software systems made by Dexter + Chaney (www.dexterchaney.com).

Job information, bid summaries, and more information that is already entered into the McCormick estimating system is electronically converted to a format that the Dexter + Chaney systems read, with the touch of a few keys. Eliminating the need to rekey this information saves contractors time and money.

McCormick Systems provides software for contractors to use in producing consistent, profitable estimates for electrical and voice-data-video work. Dexter + Chaney's Forefront and Forefront Enterprise Construction Management Software products handle accounting, jobs, project management, service, equipment, materials, and other functions.
