July 18, 2001 Edge Marketing Group (www.edge-group.com) offers a solution to one of the biggest dilemmas local and regional electronics distributors face: developing an affordable product catalog at a reasonable price. Edge has created a Catalog Database Program.

Edge maintains a database of its preferred suppliers' product lines, including part numbers, specifications, prices, and graphics, from which it can produce catalogs in house. Because the catalogs are produced using economies of scale, with production costs shared among member companies, the catalogs are produced at a fraction of the cost an individual distributor would pay on its own.
