May 1, 2001 Graybar (www.graybar.com) recently opened a branch in Freeport, TX. The distributor says the new branch, its 20th in Texas, gives it a presence in industrial-heavy Brazoria County, where Graybar had sales coverage but no local facility. The branch serves data contractors as well as industrial, commercial, power-utility, interconnect, and electrical contractors.
Ollie Wilkinson, a seven-year employee of Graybar, was promoted from a customer-service position in the Houston, TX office to supervisor of the Freeport branch.
