January 2, 2008 -- IP network camera provider Mobotix announced that it will continue its schedule of technical training seminars in the US, with a Basic Seminar and an Advanced Seminar, to be held in New York City at the end of January 2008.
The Mobotix Basic Seminar (January 31 - February 1) will teach attendees to set up and configure the company's camera for individual/project needs. Attendees will learn administrative actions pertaining to recording images and playback. The training will also cover the company's MxControl Center application, a free software downloadable from the company's Web site. Billed as "the nucleus of the camera," the software allows for changes of events and various filters and triggers.
The Mobotix Advanced Seminar (January, 29 – 30) requires that attendees have already completed the Basic Seminar. Attendees of the Advanced Seminar will learn about telephony and VoIP applications with the Mobotix camera, along with advanced programming options via the product's HTTP-API.
Registration forms for both seminars are available at the company's Web site. The registration deadline is January 14, 2008; space is limited and candidates will be assigned on a "first come, first served" basis.
