Berkeley Varitronics appoints sales agent for Panama, South Africa

November 5, 2008 -- Timbuktu Systems will sell WiMAX and Wi-Fi testing products in the two nations.

November 5, 2008 -- Berkeley Varitronics Systems appointed Timbuktu Systems as a sales organization for the countries of Panama and South Africa, focusing on the sale of WiMAX testing gear.

"Despite the global challenges many companies are facing, our international business continues to prosper with the explosion of WiMAX internationally," said Scott Schober, president and chief executive officer of Berkeley. "We are pleased to have Timbuktu Systems of the Republic of Panama and South Africa join our sales team.

"Timbuktu will sell Berkeley's entire line of wireless products as an associate partner working through our South American/Latin sales manager Corinne Jaracz. Timbuktu Systems is now part of our focused efforts to enhance WiMAX and WiFi sales internationally."
