September 17, 2008 -- Prysmian Telecom Cables and Systems, suppliers of optical fiber solutions across the North America, will unveil several new products at the FTTH Conference and Expo in Nashville, to be held September 21-25.
Prysmian, whose North American headquarters and local optical cables factory is based at Lexington, SC, supplies leading carriers in the United States and Canada, with a particular focus on local access and last mile applications.
"We have a long and proud history of achievement and innovation in this market and visitors to our stand will see all the latest examples of our ongoing commitment to delivering the developments that the market is looking for," comments the company's Lexington based VP North America, Brian Di Lascia.

Prysmian comes to the FTTH Conference on the heels of its announcement that it has reached the "1 million installed fiber km mark" for its Sirocco blown fiber system.
