Passive system from Panduit prevents hot-air recirculation.

Panduit's Net-Access Cabinet Duct Exhaust for Cisco Nexus 7009 Switch is a passive ducting system that does not require any additional energy consumption. According to Panduit, the ducting was designed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling, and it reduces the inlet temperature by preventing hot-air circulation in the data center.

Panduit adds that the duct's easy access minimizes network downtime and its powder-coat finish is corrosion-resistant.
