Aventura Technologies' "Command Center In-a-Box" integrates security, communications and notification functionality on a common operating platform, and displays information via an enterprise-wide video wall.

Aventura Technologies, Inc. (Hauppauge, NY) recently introduced its patent-pending, single-server total situational awareness platform for advanced security video management. Dubbed "Command Center In-a-Box", the system integrates a host of security, communications and notification functionality on a common operating platform unified into a single server system, which displays the information via an enterprise-wide video wall array.

Providing centralized information and hardware management, the Command Center In-a-Box system unifies Aventura's DVR, NVR, CMS, PSIM, analytics, intrusion and mass notification software, while leveraging a series of large-scale, high-density "smart" processors to manage all sub-systems. The system possesses native universal support for both IP and analog devices from a variety of manufacturers such as Axis, Panasonic, Sony, JVC, Canon and others.

Video input and output support includes HD, DVI, RGB/VGA, SDI, Component, S-Video and Composite in 24-bit image quality. The system's graphics processors provide multi-resolution, multi-codec, multi-transport support, allowing synchronization and display of disparate devices in a variety of formats. The system enables visualization and collaboration via graphical user interface and may be accessed, shared and controlled by network devices with proper permission. System security meets FIPS and USGCB standards and includes network isolation capabilities. Real-time event logging provides a clear and concise audit trail history.

"Command Center In-a-Box answers the mail of security and safety management concerns," comments Jack Cabasso, managing director of sales for Aventura Technologies. "The concern we often hear from end users and channel partners is the challenge of integrating and managing disparate systems, which lack common standards. Command Center In-a-Box is a true open architecture platform designed to work with third-party solutions."
