Leviton adds vertical, horizontal PDUs

March 4, 2009--Leviton's P1070 Series includes five new vertical surge-protected PDUs, all listed to the UL 1449 Edition 2.5 standard, and featuring a clamping voltage rating of 400 volts and a peak surge current rating of 18 kA.

March 4, 2009--Leviton's P1070 Series includes five new vertical surge-protected PDUs, all listed to the UL 1449 Edition 2.5 standard, and featuring a clamping voltage rating of 400 volts and a peak surge current rating of 18 kA. In addition, these PDUs provide circuit breaker protection and have LED indicators for power, surge protection, and grounding/polarity. They are available for 120-volt input voltage in 15 and 20 amp configurations.

Also, 4500 Series PDUs mount horizontally on 19-inch racks or cabinets in a 1U space. New features include a rocker-style on/off switch, both front and rear-facing receptacles, and additional plug configurations. The 4500 Series features a resettable circuit breaker and is available for 120-volt input voltage in 15 or 20 amp configurations, and with 7, 10 or 15-foot input cord lengths.

Both PDU series are available through the company's reseller network.
