August 17, 2006 -- Downloadable product drawings for the company's LANscape product lines are now available in Visio, DFX, and PDF formats.

Corning Cable Systems has updated the hardware product drawings for its LANscape and LANscape Pretium Solutions hardware family of products designed to simplify fiber-optic cabling requirements.

Corning says the updated third edition of the downloadable drawings incorporates several additions to the company's LANscape Solutions line, including its Pretium brand connector housings and Fiber Zone Box for structured cabling products, as well as several of the company's environmentally rugged hardware closures for outdoor and industrial environments.

The two-dimensional and isometric drawings are now available in PDF, as well as in AutoCAD-compatible DFX and Visio formats. The company presents the updated hardware drawings as tools for its customers to use as part of network designs and bid specifications.

The drawings are available for free downloading from the company's web site at www.corning.com/cablesystems/productdrawings.
