January 17, 2007 -- As part of a mutual friendship agreement signed last year, staff from the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) will take part in the 2007 BICSI Winter Conference, to be held January 22 - 25 in Orlando, Florida.
The TIA says it finds the BICSI event to be important because it provides the association with opportunities to network with current and prospective member company representative attendees. TIA says its presence in Orlando also demonstrates the association's commitment to serving the information transport systems (ITS) industry.
BICSI is an individual-based, professional association supporting the ITS industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies. The TIA and BICSI work closely together and jointly endorse cooperative events, including the TIA's co-owned NXTcomm.
The TIA and BICSI signed a friendship agreement in June 2006 at the TIA's GlobalComm event, culminating an already positive working relationship that the two organizations had fostered in the past.
"Our participation at BICSI's event in Orlando is one more way to show our support to the ITS industry as BICSI's partner organization," comments TIA president Grant Seiffert.
