Bel announces executive promotions

November 2, 2007 -- Bel Fuse Inc. announced the promotions of Andrew Wong to the new position of Vice President, Circuit Protection, and Raymond Cheung to the new position of Vice President, Asia Operations.

November 2, 2007 -- Bel Fuse Inc. announced the promotions of Andrew Wong to the new position of Vice President, Circuit Protection, and Raymond Cheung to the new position of Vice President, Asia Operations.

"As long-time veterans of our company and the electronics industry, Andrew Wong and Raymond Cheung bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their expanded roles at Bel. These promotions represent important additions to Bel's senior management team," comments Bel's president, Daniel Bernstein.

According to a press release issued by the company:

Andrew Wong, 60 years old, joined Bel in 1972. He has served as the Engineering and Production Manager and Director of various product groups over the years. Most recently, Mr. Wong has successfully managed Bel's Circuit Protection group. Prior to joining Bel, he was employed by Sprague Electric Company. His educational background includes a Certificate in Electronic and Communications Engineering.

Raymond Cheung, 50 years old, joined Bel in 1990. Prior to joining Bel, Mr. Cheung worked as a Design and Project Engineer at Astec Power, Computer Products, and as a Technical Sales Manager at Asian Sources Magazine. At Bel he has served as a Regional Sales Manager and most recently as Director of Sales for Asia. He holds a BSEE from Birmingham University, United Kingdom.
