November 16, 2007 -- Leviton has introduced its online fiber assembly configurators, which allow customers to quickly select length, fiber type, fiber count, connector and polish type, breakout length, and other features to build a product to exactly meet their needs.

The company says the configurators are intuitive with built-in error checking. The pre-terminated trunk configurator also provides a graphical representation of the product being built to ensure the custom product is correct.

The company ensures short turn-around times for customer-configured fiber assemblies and pre-terminated trunks.

"Leviton is all about service and making it easy for our customers to quickly get the products they need," offers Ross Goldman, vice president and general manager of Leviton's Network Solutions business unit. "We have invested heavily in facilities, equipment, and personnel to offer customers the fastest turnaround and highest quality assemblies and trunks in the industry."

The products are assembled and 100% tested at Fiber Connect, a company Leviton acquired in 2006.
