December 5, 2007 -- In a move taken to increase its ability to deliver hosted and managed service solutions to local businesses, NET Telcos announced the opening of new data center for the Hampton Roads market in Chesapeake, Virginia. Under terms of an agreement, the company is now offering services out of the 20,000 sq. ft. raised floor facility.

"This facility is ISO 9001 compliant, has a 24 x 7 network operations center with global monitoring capabilities, and has a robust network configuration based around dual self-healing OC-12 fiber optic SONET rings," comments Scott Rodgers, NET Telcos general manager. "It has over 170 tons of redundant computer room HVAC units, a highly redundant electric power configuration, and a state-of-the-art FM 200 gas based fire suppression system. It is the finest facility of its kind in Southeastern Virginia, bar none."

NET Telcos's first customer to be served out of the Chesapeake facility is Concursive, which brings to market Centric CRM, an open source enterprise software system for businesses.

"We are excited about the opening of this data center to meet our needs here in Hampton Roads, and we look forward to a long and beneficial relationship with NET Telcos," comments Tom Manos, CTO of Concursive.
