BICSI announces 2008 conference and meeting schedule

December 12, 2007 -- For 2008, BICSI is offering information transport systems (ITS) professionals the opportunity to attend a variety of educational conferences and meetings within the U.S.

December 12, 2007 -- For 2008, BICSI is offering information transport systems (ITS) professionals the opportunity to attend a variety of educational conferences and meetings in the United States. The scheduled events are as follows:

U.S. BICSI Conferences

Winter Conference, January 14-17, Orlando, Fla.
Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. Traditionally the largest BICSI conference every year, the Winter Conference includes pre-conference seminars, educational sessions and more than 200 exhibits. Attendees have the opportunity to attend the BICSI Annual Awards Banquet featuring live entertainment by Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of the hit television series, "Whose Line Is It Anyway?". Special speakers include former executive editor of the Harvard Business Review Nicholas Carr, internationally known speaker, author and consultant Simon T. Bailey, and Kevin Carroll, founder of The Katalyst Consultancy.

Spring Conference, April 28-30, Nashville, Tenn.
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Hosted in a different city and venue each year, the Spring Conference is a unique ITS event that presents a slightly different conference format. Attendees can choose from a wide array of concurrent sessions that cover topics including data centers, wireless, security, and aspects of premise networks, including outside plant.

Fall Conference, September 29-October 2, Las Vegas, Nev.
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The Fall Conference will provide attendees several opportunities to engage in educational sessions to increase their expertise and success in the ITS industry, exchange ideas with fellow professionals and take advantage of networking opportunities, and expand their knowledge of new products and solutions with industry leaders in the Exhibit Hall.

BICSI Region Meetings

BICSI 's Region Meetings provide individuals in the ITS industry the benefit of networking and learning about current industry topics with fellow professionals in each of BICSI's 5 U.S. regions. The meetings range from informal breakfast meetings to one-day seminars, and are scheduled as follows:
