July 17, 2007 -- Internet exchange and co-location services provider Switch and Data has introduced InfoRelay Online Systems as a new customer at its Reston, Virginia facility.

InfoRelay, an IT and connectivity solutions company that provides enterprise-level managed services to businesses of all sizes, will utilize Switch and Data's high density network connections and co-location services to expand capacity while providing a reliable, secure environment for its equipment and customers.

Services to be provided at the Reston facility include cage and cabinet space, power and back-up power, cooling, and security.

"InfoRelay chose Switch and Data's Reston facility to expand our northern Virginia presence and more specifically to provide additional co-location options to our customers," commented Russell Weiss, vice president of Technical Services for InfoRelay.

Weiss added that InfoRelay would be utilizing the Reston facility to provide managed and unmanaged co-location, dedicated services, and bandwidth to its customers.

"Switch and Data's network neutrality, flexibility in enabling a mix of cage and cabinet environments, and its ability deliver the required capacity to support InfoRelay's projected growth and that of our clients were critical to our decision," he said.
