May 31, 2007 -- Spencer Technologies, a provider of network design, infrastructure installation, and technology deployment services for retail locations, announced that it has hired 135 new employees as demand for its services continues to grow.
According to a press release, having been awarded several large contracts this year -- including multi-million dollar projects for Macy's, Gap Inc., Limited Brands, and Rite Aid -- the Massachusetts-based Spencer Technologies has strategically added 100 field technicians, 15 supervisors and engineers, and 10 project managers.
"It is our dedicated and consistent service that sets us apart. Spencer prides itself on performing most of our clients' work with a Spencer employed Technician. We prefer not to subcontract our work. This allows us to accomplish smooth installations, with quality control and personal service," comments David Strickler, president and CEO of Spencer Technologies. "From site survey through deployment, our customers will work closely with a specified team."
This year, the company says it is forecasting a 43% increase in sales over 2006, requiring expertise ranging from wireless access to voice over IP-enabled systems.
Strickler continues, "The installation of technology infrastructures is critical to retail locations. It demands expert integration and cohesive project management to develop reliable systems. Putting the proper resources in place on our end will ensure that this is a seamless process for our customers resulting in successful business-critical systems."
