Andy Jimenez
Andy Jimenez, Vice President of Technology for Enterprise Cabling Solutions, conducts standards development and product research at Anixter’s Infrastructure Solutions Lab. With 18 years of telecommunications testing and product certification experience, Andy has held various positions specializing in the certification of voice and data communications systems and holds a patent on an integrated video, data and power transport system using balanced twisted-pair cabling. An active voting member of the TIA TR-42.7 cabling and IEEE 802.3 LAN/MAN standards committees, Andy holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
