Illya Kornobis is the National Sales Manager of firestop systems for Tyco Electrical and Metal Prouducts (a Tyco International Company). Illya has been in the firestop industry for 8 years and has been involved in the codes and technologies that have rapidly evolved into the leading edge products that are on the market today. Prior to Tyco, Illya worked for Royal Group Technologies, one the earliest innovators in Canada of the intumescent materials used in the latest generations of firestop systems. Illya resides in Ontario, Canada and works in Tyco’s facility located outside of Toronto. Tyco Electrical and Metal Products is a major producer of Conduit, Cable Tray, Metal Framing and Cable products that serve the electrical, construction and low voltage markets throughout North America and around the globe.
